Vanilla Latte - Carmel Bay Coffee

Equipment

  • 1 Espresso Machine or Moka pot

Ingredients

  • 1 shot Espresso
  • 1 tbsp Vanilla Syrup
  • 8 oz Whole Milk
  • 2 tbsp Whipped Cream Optional
  • 1 pinch Ground Cinnamon For Garnish

Instructions

  • Extract 1 shot of espresso into a shot glass.
  • In a separate pitcher, heat the milk until it reaches a temperature of 150°F (65°C). Froth the milk using a steam wand until it becomes silky and velvety in texture.
  • Pour the vanilla syrup into the preheated coffee cup.
  • Pour the frothed milk into the cup, holding back the foam with a spoon to create a layered effect.
  • Pour the shot of espresso into the cup.
  • Add a dollop of whipped cream on top .
  • Garnish with a pinch of ground cinnamon.
