  • 1 Espresso Machine or Moka pot

Ingredients

  • 4 oz freshly brewed coffee from a light to medium roast
  • 4 oz apple cider preferably freshly pressed
  • 1 cinnamon stick or a pinch of ground cinnamon
  • 1 star anise optional
  • Whipped cream for topping optional
  • Apple slices and a sprinkle of ground cinnamon for garnish

Instructions

  • Brew your coffee and pour it into a large mug.
  • In a saucepan, heat the apple cider with the cinnamon stick and star anise until it’s warm but not boiling.
  • Pour the warmed apple cider into the mug with coffee.
  • Stir gently to combine the two liquids.
  • If desired, top with whipped cream.
  • Garnish with an apple slice and a sprinkle of ground cinnamon.
