Begin by brewing your shot of espresso into a large mug.
In a saucepan, heat the milk but don’t let it boil.
Add the chai tea bag or loose chai blend to the milk, allowing it to steep for about 4-5 minutes. If you’re using loose chai, remember to strain it out after.
Mix in the ground nutmeg and sweetener, stirring until well combined.
Remove the tea bag (if used) and pour the chai-infused milk into the mug over the espresso.
Add a dash of vanilla extract if desired and give a gentle stir.
Garnish with a sprinkle of nutmeg on top.
