Nutmeg-infused Cold Brew

Equipment

  • 1 Espresso Machine, Moka pot, or French Press

Ingredients

  • 8 oz Coarse ground coffee beans (medium to dark roast)
  • 2 tbsp Freshly grated nutmeg or whole nutmeg seed
  • 4 oz Ice
  • 3 tbsp Cream or milk optional

Instructions

  • Take 1 cup of coarse ground coffee beans.
  • Add 4 cups of cold, filtered water.
  • Grate in a pinch of nutmeg. If using a whole seed, a quarter of it will suffice.
  • Stir the mixture ensuring all grounds are soaked.
  • Cover and refrigerate for 12-24 hours.
  • Strain the mixture to remove coffee grounds.
  • Serve over ice, adding milk or cream if desired.
