Brew your shot of espresso into your chosen latte cup.
In a small bowl or pitcher, mix the vanilla extract and ground nutmeg.
Pour this mixture over the freshly brewed espresso.
Steam the milk until it’s creamy and has a slight froth.
Gently pour the steamed milk into the cup, integrating it with the espresso and vanilla-nutmeg mixture.
If you prefer, add a dollop of whipped cream on top.
